When my parents had the XXX drive inn(a hamburger joint that served XXX rootbeer) on 15th and Maple, his mother worked there and after my mother visited Providence Hieghts Elementary for lunch one day (and saw the inedible lunch served there) either my mother or his mother would bring us a sack lunch for Terry, Melinda, and me. Miss Royal and other teachers would frequently turn in orders for lunch also. I also remember playing in the creek with Terry, trying to catch crawdads.

Terry was a really good guy. We were friends in Elementary School and I loved running the creek behind his house.
