I feel fortunate to have been able to see Donald at our pre Reunion get together in the summer of 2010. I considered Donald one of the "good ones". That is a term I use to characterize those whom I met along life's way that made my life brighter. He was always friendly and eager to be of help. We were fortunate to have Donald involved in several of the Reunion planning efforts. I will miss getting to see him and be greeted by his endearing smile and handshake.
I can honestly say to all of our classmates that Donald was true Tiger till the end! He never complained and always looked forward to seeing his classmates.
Donald was probably one of the nicest persons you could know. Always respectful and even-tempered. A mild mannered type of guy. It seems as though his illness came so suddenly that there was no time to say goodbye. He'll truly be missed at this year's class reunion because I don't think he ever missed one. His presence will be felt.
